The mounting problem, stated plainly
A wall shelf carrying plants is a cantilever, and the load is worse than the weight suggests: a pot sitting at the front edge of a 10-inch-deep shelf pulls on the top fixing far harder than the same pot against the wall. Adhesive is not an appropriate mounting method for a loaded cantilever shelf and no adhesive product publishes a rating for one. The cordless magnetic bar, which is the interesting part
